TRZ Kidz

Established in 2006 to provide local full time care for school aged children throughout the Frewsburg School District community. The need for a program such as TRZ Kidz was identified via the families using TRZ JumpStart before school program. The Relief Zone was made aware that there existed no full time, public care program in the Frewsburg School District. Our Board of Directors and Roxanne Miller, ED, arranged to provide this opportunity for the hard pressed working families to find child care that truly met their needs.

The 2011 TRZ Kidz program is held all 10 weeks of the summer school calendar break. We serve 40 registered families, 50 children, meeting their needs for daily, weekly and monthly child care. While we are enjoying success with the number of families served, we will continue to work on providing child care at a more affordable rate to community families. Josh Gilevski is the TRZ Kidz Camp Coordinator.

 

Mission Statement
The Relief Zone Community Youth Center, being based in Biblical Christian values, seeks to help youth build relationships with one another and unbelieving friends, by reaching out to unbelievers, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, by ministering to them and helping them grow in Christ. We seek to enhance the lives of the youth in our community through programs designed for spirit, mind and body.
