TRZ Kidz Summer Day Camp

Established in 2006 to provide local full time care for school aged children throughout the Frewsburg School District community. The need for a program such as TRZ Kidz was identified via the families using TRZ JumpStart before school program. The Relief Zone was made aware that there existed no full time, public care program in the Frewsburg School District. Our Board of Directors and Roxanne Miller, ED, arranged to provide this opportunity for the hard pressed working families to find child care that truly met their needs.

TRZ Kidz Summer Day Camp 2012

We have an exciting summer planned for k-6th grade children this summer at TRZ, with tons of cool trips, great themes and lots of activities to keep them having fun all summer long! TRZ Kidz Day Camp Staff are experienced, well-trained individuals who have a special interest in kids. Guidance Counselor, Josh Gilevski is our Summer Camp Coordinator.
We are open Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:30pm, June 25-August 31st. We will be closed on July 4th. The cost per week per child is $80, or $20 per child per day. A morning and afternoon snack will be provided for the campers each day.
We will be going to the Library on Tuesdays from 1-2:30pm (July 10 – August 14) for their summer enrichment program. We will also be swimming on Mondays and Fridays from 1-3pm at the Frewsburg Central School pool. Thursdays are field trip days. Field trips this summer include; The Town of Dry Gulch, Waldameer, Allegany State Park, Chuck-E-Cheese, and the Erie Zoo. Contact Lisa Lyon at 569-2614 for more information.

 

Mission Statement
It is the desire of The Relief Zone, Inc. Community Youth Center to reach, impact, and serve the youth of our community. TRZ’s programs meet an array of needs in our community and, importantly, provide an alternative to dangerous or delinquent activities for youth. We want to see youth encouraged and mature both socially and educationally.
